Sarteano is a special place, off the beaten path - not overrun with tourists. Whether you are a high-level semiprofessional, a music teacher, or a newer student who prefers to stick to a slower pace and more ensemble work, we have a place for you in our programs. Immersing ourselves in authentic Italian culture, we experience renewal by making beautiful music in a beautiful place with like-minded individuals!
We: set up your musical experience - gathering faculty, providing gorgeous venues for performance and classes, and curating a list of cultural experience that you can choose from.
You: Play great music, make wonderful friends, perform in stunning venues, and take time to enjoy the many delights of Tuscany. Rehearsals, coachings, and private lessons are augmented with multiple public performances in historic venues. Enjoy great food, archeological sites, an ancient castle, a local spring-fed pool, farmers markets and much more! Past participants include musical retirees, undergraduate and graduate music students, and high-level professional musicians. We are an age-inclusive group that welcomes adult musicians at many stages.
