FESTIVAL PARTICIPATION LEVELS
One Week Studio Artist Program - Beginners
For beginner adult students, usually those who have played for less than 5 years or are returning to studies after a period away from their instrument.
Included:
You will perform in the Studio Concert in the Teatro Communale degli Arrischianti for festival participants and guests on July 12th
You will receive two 45-min individual lessons during the week
You will receive daily chamber music coaching
You may attend all masterclasses across divisions
You are included in the Opening Pizza Dinner at the Villa
Included bus trip to Montepulciano
Shuttle Use - Pick up to/from the Chiusi-Chianciano Train Station/ Daily Circular Around Town;
Tickets for the Sarteano Castle/ Archeological Museum/Sala Beccafumi Gallery
Recording of your concert
Tuition: $1,000.00 USD.
One Week Festival Artist Program - Intermiediate/Advanced Level
For artists that play at a high level (professionals, music teachers, advanced university students)
Included:
You will perform in at least one public concerts at the Teatro Communale degli Arrischianti (selecting from concerts on July 16 or 20)
You will receive two 60-min individual lessons
You will receive daily musical coachings in ensembles
You may attend all masterclasses across divisions
You are included in the Opening Pizza Dinner at the Villa
Included bus trip to Chiusi
Shuttle Use - Pick up to/from the Chiusi-Chianciano Train Station/ Daily Circular Around Town;
Tickets for the Sarteano Castle/ Archeological Museum/Sala Beccafumi Gallery
Included final group dinner at Locanda dei Tintori (wine, full multicourse meal)

Tuition: $1,500.00 USD
Two Week Festival Artist Program
For artists that play at a high level (professionals, music teachers, advanced university students)
Included:
You will perform in at least two public concerts at the Teatro Communale degli Arrischianti (selecting from concerts on July 9, 12, 16 or 20)
You will receive four 60-min individual lessons
You will receive daily musical coachings in ensembles
You may attend all masterclasses across divisions
You are included in the Opening Pizza Dinner at the Villa
Included bus trips to Montepulciano and Chiusi

Guests
We welcome guests of all ages and participants regularly bring their families, parents, or friends! We do ask that guests register for a small fee for liability/administrative reasons. Then they may select/purchase any of our Cultural Add-on Activities according to their interests and attend Festival performances and masterclasses. Guests also have use of the SMT Shuttle around town and to/from the Train Station. Fee: $250.00
Visiting Artist
Registration is by permission of the General Director only. Very high level performers who are not interested in lessons or instruction, but who are needed to fill chamber ensembles or opera scenes. May observe lessons/Masterclasses only. Will perform in concerts as decided by the Artistic Team. May select/purchase Cultural Add-ons Activities according to their interests, none are included. They may attend Festival performances and masterclasses and have use of the SMT Shuttle around town and to/from the Train Station. Fee: $400.00

Vocal Studies: classical/opera

You will enjoy private and group instruction with master teaching-artists and coaches
The program is small (usually about 50 participants) in order to create a tailor-made, supportive experience for each musician.
Repertoire will be selected and assigned by June 1, 2027 so you can learn your music prior to arrival.
Multiple opportunities formusicians to participate in solo, quartet, quintet and/or large ensemble public performances in beautiful venues.
Ensembles will include groups such as opera scenes, string or wind quartets, duos, jazz combos, madrigal/choral ensembles according to participants’ interests.
Our home venue is a breathtaking 18th century ovoid theatre with 45 boxes: Teatro Comunale degli Arrischianti. We also have additional rehearsal and practice rooms in various locations throughout the town’s Historic Center.
Cultural enrichment opportunities include exploring a thousand-year-old castle, visiting Montepulciano, going inside an ancient Etruscan tomb, hiking in a Nature Preserve, visiting the spring-fed pool and more.
Daily schedule runs 9:00am-7:00pm and includes technique classes, group masterclasses, individual lessons, ensemble coachings, scenes stagings, trips to nearby attractions, and more. You will not have classes during all of these hours; there will be time for relaxation, exploration and practice.
You will sample the local cuisine in world class restaurants - and don’t forget your daily gelato for dessert!
