This summer, we will offer a Solo Flute and Piccolo Intensive with Ashley Mendeke after hours and during some afternoons. This opportunity is for 1-week intermediate Studio Artist players who want to focus on refining technique, piccolo, extended techniques, and career preparation. You must also be registered as a 1-week Winds Studio Artist. $150 for a 1 week portion of the workshops:

Workshop: Structuring Practice Time
Seminar: Entrepreneurship: Creating Opportunities, Finding meaning for adults and students
Workshop: Piccolo as a Solo Instrument: Intonation, Projection, Vibrato Choices
Warm-up & tuning class: piccolo intonation work
Workshop: Bios, Resumes, Headshots, etc (for students)
Chamber groups and grant applications (for adult students)
Morning warm-up: focus on centering
